Agnes G. “Betty” Endvick, 93 of Boyd, died Saturday, October 13,
2018 at Country Terrace-Stanley of a stroke. She was born on
October 6, 1925 in Boyd the daughter of the late Henry and Nellie
(Van Gomple) Gerrits. Betty grew up near Boyd and she attended
St. Joseph’s Grade School and Boyd High. She married Marvin
Endvick on May 18, 1943 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church-Boyd.
The couple soon purchase the Endvick family farm in 1944. They
raised their four children there and farmed for 28 years before
moving into Boyd. They made many trips traveling to California,
Montana and sight-seeing in other states. They also spent many
years and enjoyed their summers in their trailer on Prairie Lake in
Chetak. Betty enjoyed horseshoes, bowling, embroidering and
especially playing cards.
Betty is survived by her four children, Barbara Johnson of
Chippewa Falls, Keryl (Vern) Weltzin of Eau Claire, Bernard
(Jackie) Endvick of Boyd and Donna (Ronald) Schunk of Stanley,
12 grandchildren, Peggy, Greg, Bryan, Laurie, Gina, Randy,
Richard, Jessica, Dawn, Rodney, Rex and Melissa, 28 great
grandchildren and one sister in law, Norma Gerrits. She is
preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin (2005), a
granddaughter, Paula Wong, a son in law, Ed Johnson, her
brothers, Nick (Mary), Peter (Edna), George (Kathryn), Martin
(Olga), Jerome (Marg), and Raymond, and her sisters, Anne (Math)
Deutsch, Harriet (Bill) Wagner, Jennie (Wenzel) Stoehr, Irene
(Roland) Stong, Lorretta (Joseph) Haase, Dorothy (Howard)
Eslinger and Sister Roseanne “Minnie”.
A funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Saturday, October 20, 2018
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church-Boyd with Father William Felix
officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery-Boyd.
Visitation will be from 9:30AM until time of service Saturday morning
at the church. Plombon Funeral Service-Stanley assisted the family
