Kimberly M. Weidner, 47 of Stanley, died suddenly on Wednesday,
March 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital of natural causes.
She was born on February 18, 1971 in Stanley and was raised by
her parents Irene and Tom Schmitt. Kim grew up in the area and
graduated from Stanley-Boyd High in 1989. She worked for Kwik
Trip the past 20 years.
Kim married Derek Weidner on January 23, 1998 and they have
lived in Stanley since. She enjoyed spending time with her
grandkids and family, working in the garden, collecting snowmen
and other random things she liked.  Kim also enjoyed taking long
drives around the country side (and getting lost), getting her nails
done, Pikmin, Minions and buying things for her grandkids. Most
recently she enjoyed traveling and very much enjoyed the beach.
She could be counted on helping others whenever the need arose.
She is survived by her husband Derek of Stanley, her children, A.J.
(Alex) Schreiber of Cornell, Brenda Weidner and John Weidner both
of Stanley, her grandchildren, Aubri, Abbi, Adrian, Alivia, Emmett
and Hagen, her mother, Irene (Tom) Schmitt, grandfather, Andrew
Schmitt of Boyd and siblings, Eugene P. (Norma) Gauger of Withee,
Andy (Krista) Schmitt of Stanley and Heather Eichelt of Thorp and
many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her
biological father Eugene Gauger, her grandparents Eugene and
Evelyn Gauger, John and Bessie Shilts and Mary Schmitt.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018
at the Plombon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Edson Union
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Tuesday and one hour
prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
