Ronald A. Dircks, 48 of Stanley, died suddenly on
Sunday, March 4, 2018 of natural causes. He was born
Ronald Ambrose Dilley on December 9, 1969 in St. Paul,
MN the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Ann (Moriarty)
Dilley. Ron was raised there and joined the US Army
where he spent the next 13+ years.
He was a first go Air assault out of the101st Airborn
Division. Ronald completed basic training out of Fort
Leonardwood, MO where he became what he loved: an
Engineer. He went to serve his country in Panama
during that conflict and after training for his 5th MOS in
Fort Bliss, TX. His wife and best friend were married on
May 7, 2001. They moved to Fort Campbell, KY until his
duty again called him to serve in Iraq in 2003. He
sustained injuries while overseas but it never slowed him
down when it came to his real pride and joy: his son
Ronald worked as a Reprographics specialist in his
civilian life for companies out of Minneapolis, MN. He
enjoyed playing Axis and Allies and loved to study war
history. Ron is loved by many and will be missed terribly
by many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Tamyra Dircks of Stanley, his
sons, Jsonin, Jeffrey and Bricen, all of Stanley, a
brother, Kenneth Dilley, his parents, Charles and Vina
Dircks of Stanley, his sisters in law, Terysa Dircks, Amy
(Mel) Dircks of Boyd, Cindy (Jerry) Wilber of Stanley and
Diana (Bill) Dircks Ham Lake, MN.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, March
9th at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley with Rev.
Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7
PM on Thursday and one hour prior to services at the
Plombon Funeral Home.
