Marian R. Stebner, 84 formerly of Gilman, died Thursday, January
31, 2019 at Care Partner Care Center-Eau Claire under the care of
St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born on March 6, 1934 to the late
Hardy and Ruth (Knewstub) Soward. Marian grew up in northern
Wisconsin and married Dan Stebner raising their family in the
Gilman area. They later divorced.
Marian was a homemaker, farmer and a CNA for the Medford
Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Tom) Lechleitner of
Gilman, Rebecca Stebner of Eau Claire and Tim Stebner, six
grandchildren, Tracy Kunst of Derrider, LA, Candy Lechleitner and
Sara Fowler both of Green Bay, Kevin Lechleitner of Gilman,
William Lechleitner of Lake in the Hills, IL, and Kyle Lechleitner of
Maplewood, MN, 2 Great Grandchildren, Joe and Abby Crist and
one brother, Don Soward of Tomahawk. Marian is preceded in
death by her parents, her son Greg, a granddaughter, Joanie
Lechleitner, a brother, Milton Soward and a sister, Joyce Logan.

A service of remembrance will be held in the spring with inurnment
in the Donald Cemetery.
