Leonarda Z. Such, 91 of Stanley, died Wednesday, April 5,
2017 at the Homeplace-Stanley under the care of St. Joseph’
s Hospice. She was born on May 3, 1925 in Iwonicz, Poland
the daughter of the late John F and Aniela (Kenar) Such.
She was raised in Poland and married John Such there on
November 18, 1952. The couple moved to Wisconsin in 1959
and farmed north of Stanley.
Leonarda was a member of All Saints Parish and enjoyed
sewing and her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Halina (David) Knapp of
Waupun, Hatty (James) Wirth of Stanley, Albert (Annie
Bissantz) Such of Carol Stream, IL and Mary (Ron Hazuga)
Thrasher of Stanley, 9 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren. Leonarda is preceded in death by her
parents, her brother, Stanley Such and her sister Marie
Kielar.

A funeral mass will be at 11AM on Saturday, April 8th at St.
Mary’s Czestochowa Catholic Church rural Stanley with
Father Janusz Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in St.
Mary’s Czestochowa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until
7 PM Friday at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley with a 7
PM Parish Rosary and Saturday morning at the funeral home
from 9:45 AM until departure to the church.
