Obituary:

Kayden Alan Krizan, 11, a.k.a. “Bud Bud” of Stanley died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was born on June 10, 2014 to Wade and Tina (Van Domelen) Krizan. Kayden was currently in the 6th grade at Stanley Boyd Middle School.

Kayden, our perfect angel, was the greatest blessing from God that we didn't know we needed. With all of the cares that he required and needed, it turned out that we actually needed him more than he needed us. The day he was born, we thought, was the worst day of our lives, because we knew absolutely nothing about caring for a special needs child with severe heart defects. As it turns out, that actually was the best day of our lives and Sunday, November 23rd was the most horrifically devastating, crushing, excruciatingly painful, worst day of our lives!

Kayden, our Bud Bud, made such an enormous impact on everyone he came in contact with. He was the happiest, joyful, most fun loving, energetic, knowingly mischievous, curious, OCD and compassionate son and little brother ever! He loved his big sister Kaylee so very much! If she was upset, he would look at her with the most horrified look on his face and every time she cried, he literally cried too. They had the closest and most special bond any 2 siblings could ever have. He was our precious baby, our little man, our buddy for life. Kayden loved to be outside, going to school, riding bike, camping, fishing, being a big helper at home and he loved cheering Kaylee on at volleyball games and imitating everything that she did. He loved his Christian music, singing, dancing, his wiggle wiggles, his tablet, his Toniebox, cars, monster trucks and anything with wheels. He loved going for rides in big brother Cody's RZR. His zest and excitement for life and the next adventure we took him on was so rewarding for us. Our loss of him can never ever be replaced and we will love him from here forever until we meet again in Heaven.

He is survived by his parents, Wade and Tina Krizan, his siblings, Kaylee Krizan, Cody Sonnentag, Alyssa (Riley) Schulner, Courtney (Dylan) Maddox, Anna and Hunter Krizan, his maternal grandparents, Jerry (Bonnie) Van Domelen and Marilyn (Don) Kademan and his paternal grandparents, Gary and Karen Krizan as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and classmates.

A funeral service will take place Friday, November 28, 2025 at 11AM at Faith Free Church-Stanley with Pastor Matt Miklasz officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery-Stanley. Visitation will be from 9AM until time of service at the church. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
