Obituary:

Kristine Ann Myslinsi, 60, of Stanley died on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Country Terrace-Stanley under the care of Compassus Hospice after a brief, but courageous, struggle with cancer. Daughter of Ronald and Diane (Jackson) Myslinski, Kris was born in Chippewa Falls on December 27, 1965.

Kris grew up in Stanley and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School. She moved to Chippewa Falls and worked as night shift security for Cray Research, SGI, and then Hutchinson Technology. For the last several years, she was a caretaker for her mother who preceded her in death by just three months.

Kris was a cheerful, optimistic woman with a great memory and sense of humor. She was a dedicated daughter and friend, always putting others first. As a diehard Green Bay Packer fan she watched every game. She always hoped to get better so she could go back to work, saying ”I’m gonna beat this.” Kris enjoyed having pizza with her cousins and spending time with her precious dog Daisy.

Kris was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James (2013). She is survived by and will be missed by her many cousins and friends.

A funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father William Felix officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM at the church on Monday. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
