Obituary:
Kenneth John Webster, 56, of Jump River, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital from natural causes. He was born on July 11, 1969, in Stanley, Wisconsin, to Theresa (Olejniczak) and Marvin Webster Sr.Ken was raised on the family farm near Hannibal, Wisconsin, where he learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and family that would define his life. He graduated from Gilman High School in 1988 and carried his small-town roots and strong work ethic with him throughout his life. Following high school, Ken built a long and respected career with Rock Road Companies, where he dedicated more than 25 years of service. He was known for his dependability, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand. His coworkers became lifelong friends, and he took great pride in the work he did and the relationships he built along the way. On January 11, 2003, Ken married the love of his life, Denise Beisner. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family, sharing countless memories that will forever be treasured. Outside of work, Ken embraced the outdoors and lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for bird hunting with his beloved dogs and enjoyed hunting coon, bear, coyote, and deer. Some of his happiest days were spent with his friends at Big Rock and Little Hills Pheasant Farms, where stories were shared, friendships were strengthened, and memories were made. When he wasn’t outdoors, Ken enjoyed video gaming, cooking, and grilling, especially when it brought family and friends together around the table. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family, who were the greatest joy of his life.
Ken will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, unwavering loyalty, and sense of humor. Whether he was helping a friend, sharing a meal, or enjoying time in the woods, he made those around him feel welcome and valued. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for family will live on in all who knew him.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Denise Webster; his parents, Theresa and Marvin Webster Sr.; his siblings, Marvin (Cathy) Webster Jr., Steve (Gayleen) Webster, Frank (Trenda) Webster, Joe (Becky) Webster, Bernadine (James) Trawicki, Anne Webster, Donna (Clayton Brugge) Webster, and Carol (Ryan) Leverance. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jean Beisner; his sisters-in-law, Andrea (Nickolas) Wilson and Sherri (William) Kriegel.
He was a proud uncle to Steven Webster Jr., Jeannie Marie (Derek) Entrekin, Tabitha Webster, Jason (Jessica) Webster, Jeremy (Alli) Webster, Robbie (Jaimie) Webster, Eric Webster, Craig Webster, Jessica (John) Liljedahl, Jamie (Lauren) Webster, Lane (Mariah) Webster, JamieLee Trawicki, Jody (Sadie) Trawicki, Tucker (Eve Hanson) Broeske, Theresa (John) Clark, Tristin Broeske, Nora Leverance, Zachary Kriegel, Nicholas Kriegel, MacKenzie Wilson, Kelsey Wilson, and Lauren Wilson. He is further survived by many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, many great friends, and extended family, all of whom will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Ken was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dennis Beisner; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his beloved cousin, Jeff Webster.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorchester, with Pastor Shawn Andersen officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Gilman Funeral Home, and again for two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Though his time with us was far too short, Ken’s life was rich with love, friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he cared about. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and unforgettable memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
