Obituary:

Donald Leo Bohl, 88, of rural Stanley, passed away Wednesday, April 16th at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. Donald was born to Gilbert and Mildred (Langel) Bohl on October 4th, 1936 in Tilden, Wisconsin. He married Johanna Caza on May 17th, 1958. They had 7 children together. They later divorced. He married Marlene Bohl on July 17th, 1982 and they farmed in Delmar Township.

He enjoyed various activities such as hunting, fishing, and playing cards with his friends.

Donald is survived by his children, Karen (Wayne) Lato of Thorp, Daniel Bohl (Jina) of Stanley, Jim (Lana) Bohl of Withee, Christine (Bob) Nelson of Stanley, step-children Cheryl (Roy) Borseth of Eau Claire and Danny (Pauline) Posda of Cadott. He is further survived by his first wife Johanna (Caza) Bohl of Eau Claire; siblings Duane (Nancy) Bohl of Stanley, Darlene Eslinger of Cadott, and Betty (George) Tomczak of Cadott, 20 Grandchildren, 38 Great-grandchildren , and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marlene, son Robert Bohl, daughters Jeanne Geist and Deanna Bohl, and his sisters Geraldine Westaby and Joanne Schaefer.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boyd with Father William Felix officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service. A luncheon will follow in the church basement. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery following the service. Plombon Funeral Home of Stanley is serving the family.
