Thelma J. Westaby

Obituary:

Thelma J. Westaby, 84, of Colfax, formerly of Jump River, died Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Dove Nursing Home-Bloomer under the care of Heartland Hospice. She was born on September 1, 1940 in Rome, Georgia the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (McDaniels) Gravitte.

Thelma’s moved to the area when she was young and she met and married Kenneth R. Westaby, SR. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, visiting with friends, and spending time with her family.

Thelma is survived by her children, Pam (Ron) Kobylarczyk of Cornell, Robin (Daryl) Krizan, Michael Westaby, and Kelly (Lori) Westaby all of Colfax, Susan (Joe) Tester of Jump River and Corey Westaby of Menomonie, 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her siblings, Penny, Betty, Patricia, Faye, Debra, Charles, Noel and Kenneth. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth SR (2010) her son, Kenneth, JR, daughters, Sandy and Cynthia, a grandson, Josh Westaby, her brothers, Wayne Weld and Bud Gravitte.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, July 12th at the Jump River Community Center. Inurnment will take place in Mount Nebo Cemetery privately. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
