Geraldine A. Kleppetsch

Obituary:

Geraldine A. Kleppetsch, 92, of Jump River, died peacefully Sunday, January 19, 2025 at home under the care of Hope Hospice with her family by her side. She was born on February 24, 1932 at the family home to the late William and Nancy (Warner) Bosteder. Geraldine grew up there and attended area schools.

She married Walter Kleppetsch on June 12, 1952. Gerry enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, dancing, singing, baking, reading, crocheting, canning, playing games and visiting with everyone who stopped by.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Davis of Indiana, Robin (Cinda) Kleppetsch, David Kleppetsch and Aline (Dean) Denges all of Illinois and Rick “Otis” Kleppetsch of Jump River, 15 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter (1973), her grandchildren, Rick and Tammy Kleppetsch, Richard Davis and Jeremy Gilszmer, her brothers, Albert, Ted, Ray, Fred, Leslie, Vernon and sisters, Jean, Edith, Elizabeth, Maudy, Lucinda, Phoebe, Bertha, Ida, Joyce, Barbara, Darlene, Margie and Jean.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Christ Community Church-Jump River with Pastor Joey Olsen officiating. Visitation and a reception will be held after the service at the Jump River Community Center.
