Obituary:

Melissa A. Anders, 45 of Thorp, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from natural causes. She was born on February 14, 1980 at Victory Memorial Hospital-Stanley to LaVerne and Norma (Hodges) Fasbender. Melissa grew up in the Stanley and Thorp area.

She enjoyed she enjoyed fishing, camping, going to music festivals and the casino

She is survived by her son, Christopher Anders, her Father, LaVerne Fasbender of Thorp, her siblings, Margie (Jeff) Nelson, Kristi (Pete) Benzschawel both of Stanley, Vicky Hodges of Chippewa Falls, Tony (Amy) Fasbender of Gilman and Theresa Taylor.

Melissa is preceded in death by her mother, Norma.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th from 4-6 PM at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley.
